The Lake District official site says: England's largest National Park is now a World Heritage Site, home to Scafell Pike - its highest mountain, and Wast Water - its deepest lake.
Another notable mountain for skiers is Raise, home to the one and only Lake District Ski Club. The peak may only sit at 883m (Mont Blanc is 4,810m), but by goodness that's not going to stop the British sense of adventure!
This is a geographically correct Map, with the 'underground lines' being the roads, and even the exits for the M6 are labelled making it even more extremely useful! ;-)
