Central Network [Discovery Edition] | Details & Features
There is more to discover Underground.
The Central Network was the artwork from which the Frozen Underground grew: an imaginary transport system in which the stations are ski resorts and the routes travel through a world of mountains, snow and après-ski.
The Discovery Edition takes the complete Frozen Underground Central Network and gives it room to reveal more of the stories, history and character of the skiing world it connects.
Across its 192 stations, celebrated ski resorts from Europe and beyond become part of one imaginary Underground system, travelling through mountains, glaciers, ski areas and après-ski along routes including the Blue Run, Black Run and Le Vin Chaud lines.
But look more closely - this edition goes further.
The larger A2 format allows additional information and specially designed icons to be incorporated throughout the network: mountain transport, notable resort features and other details that you'll discover after the artwork has been hanging on the wall for a while. Rather than simply enlarging the Classic artwork, the additional space here has been used to add another layer of Frozen Underground detail, while keeping the Central Network itself at the heart of the design.
They might lead you to a resort you know, a piece of skiing history you had forgotten, an unusual journey into the mountains, or simply something that prompts the inevitable question: “Did you know that?”
That is exactly what the Discovery Edition is intended to do - adding more layers, introducing further researched details and visual clues that connect the artwork more closely to the history, geography and culture of skiing.
And those Yetis have been particularly productive this year. For the 2026/27 season, 27 new stations have opened across the Frozen Underground, extending the network to even more of the world’s great ski destinations.
The result is a map intended not only to be seen, but explored — a piece of ski art that rewards another look every time you pass it.
